5 Last Minute Fall Crafts
#1: Filled glass tumblers of varying sizes (my favorite)
This craft from TenJune is SO easy and versatile. It can fit with any motif you’re aiming for and can be used all year round just with different items inside. A few of these things may even be found in your own backyard. The best items for fall are:
Pine cones (I like the scented ones from the craft store)
Apples and/or pears
Honestly, there’s so many ways to style this, just go with what works for your home!
#2: Easy Fall Wreath
2 Bees in a Pod have an awesome tutorial on how to craft a quick and easy wreath using any color flowers you like. I think some sunflowers might look nice in there as well!
#3: Quick Table Runner
This craft from Bombshell Bling utilizes your handy glue gun and these cute felt leaf shapes. The beauty of it is that you can use any shapes for any season! It’s a great, easy way to add some holiday spirit to your dining table.
#4: “Falling” leaves
I love that this craft from HGTV can be used all around the house: over the dining table as a great alternative to a centerpiece, in the doorway as a warm welcome, or even hanging from the mantel. And if orange leaves don’t fit your decor, you can always spray paint them to the color of your liking.
#5: Cinnamon Candles
Besides adding a nice warm glow when lit, these candles will warm the cinnamon sticks to bring a soft fragrance to the room. This tutorial from Home Stories A to Z will take no time at all…or you could just go buy a cinnamon broom like i do 😉
BONUS Fall Craft: Cotton Plant Stems
This one may take a little longer than a few minutes but I thought that it was so darn creative that I had to share it! And these cotton stems would look great in a glass tumbler! Check it out at Hip2Save .
So, go get crafting!
